About Us

My name is Elise Retzinger,  I know it would have been extremely beneficial throughout my life's journey as a twice divorced, single mom, dealing with being overwhelmed, and frustrated, with two special needs children and the feelings of loneliness that being on your own brings, and when depression takes hold you feel isolated and that no one understands. However, knowing that - I had to take care of myself for them, I was able to be brave enough to reach out for help in spite of any stigma of mental illness brings. 

Unfortunately, I had a sibling who suffered in silence and committed suicide. This is the reason why I am so passionate about my mission to help those struggling with stress, anxiety, and depression. It is in her honor, that I am now, a Spiritual Mindset Resilience Coach and the CEO and founder of Lighthouse, and the developer of my signature program The S.H.I.N.E, Method. It is meant to be a beacon, not just of Hope, but that we are not alone and together we can rediscover our inner light and make it Shine.

My focus has been helping Empty Nester Solopreneurs however I believe that many others can benefit from what the S.H.I.N.E. Method can help them learn. There are a lot of reasons and ways a person can become an empty nester... having an adult child leaving the nest is just one reason. The loss of a parent, spouse or child is another. As many of us are entering into another chapter of our lives we find there are many challenges with regard to creating the means to live life to the fullest. As entrepreneurs, we are recreating and redefining the life of our dreams filled with more confidence and financial freedom with the joy and happiness that it brings.
